Scrum-in-Practice
In this lecture, theoretical knowledge and practical skills in dealing with Scrum are taught. The course consists of three parts. In an introductory part, the necessary concepts of the Scrum process model are presented in two lectures and the technologies required for successful project implementation are specified. In the main part of the course, a project is implemented using Scrum in a 1-week block event. This takes place in project teams of 4-5 participants. During this phase, Scrum meetings with the supervisors take place 2 times a day. As a result, participants learn to develop purposefully and efficiently according to this development model. The block course takes place in one week during the lecture-free period. Attendance is compulsory here, of course. For successful execution in the project work, each participant is expected to carefully familiarize themselves with the necessary technologies. At the end of the project week, the participants reflect on their experiences and summarize them. These results will then be discussed in a joint final event.
