Mittelstand 4.0 goes into overtime
On August 1, 2020, the "Mittelstand 4.0 Kompetenzzentrum Magdeburg", funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), began its two-year extension. The aim of the project is to support small and medium-sized enterprises on their path towards digitalization.
As part of the project, Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg is working on the topics of "Safety & Security", "Digital Business Models" and "Artificial Intelligence". Specifically, the chairs of Software Engineering (Prof. Dr. Frank Ortmeier), Business Informatics (Prof. Dr. habil. Klaus Turowksi) and Data And Knowledge Engineering (Prof. Dr. Andreas Nürnberger) are involved in the project.
